Jeb Bush & Bob Wise

Jeb Bush served as the Governor of Florida from 1999-2007.  During his two term, Bush championed bold reforms in education that led to significant and continual rising student achievement.  Since leaving office, he has maintained his passion for reform as Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Florida's Future and the Foundation for Excellence in Education.  Jeb Bush is principal of Jeb Bush and Associates, LLC.  He earned a bachelor's degree in Latin American Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin.

Bob Wise is President of the Alliance for Excellent Education and former governor of West Virginia.  He is author of Raising the Grade: How High School Reform Can Save Our Youth and Our Nation and chair of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.  While governor from 2001-2005, West Virginia saw significant increase in the number of students completing high school and entering college.  Governor Wise has become a sought-after speaker and advisor on education issues.  He has advised the U.S. Department of Education, White House Transition Team, and frequently testifies before U.S. Congress.  Governor Wise earned a bachelor's degree from Duke University and a JD from Tulane University School of Law.
